A Journey to the Origin
If you have a chance to visit Korea, then
make sure it is a spiritual journey.

And this is where the journey begins; The Jeung San Do Education center
located in the city of Taejon.

And where did Jeung San Do begin? In order to understand the movement of
Jeung San Do, we visit Moaksan, meaning the Mother Mountain. It is a truely
beautiful mountain, with many famous temples, one of the more famous is the
Dae-wun temple, the Great Wish temple.

This is a temple known for the great monk Jin-mook, and his portrait hangs in
this temple. This is what Sangjenim said about Jin-mook. "Hoping to build a
good world on earth, Jin-mook visited heaven to learn its many marvelous
ways. But, after he was tragically killed by Gim Bohng-gohk, Jin-mook,
harboring bitterness and grief, took all the spirits who head the branches of
each teaching of the East and went over to the West, where he endeavored to
develop Western civilization. Now, I relieve Jin-mook's bitterness and summon
him back to his own country to have him participate in building a world of
immortality."

This is also the temple where Sangjenim opened His infinite Enlightenment for
the salvation of heaven, earth and humanity. On lunar calendar July seventh
1901, Sangjenim opened His infinite Ways here; the Seven Stars Shrine.

Again the Seven Stars Shrine.
Beginning on His fifteenth day at Dae-wun Temple, July 1, Jeung-san did not
eat or drink anything for seven days. He meditated with one mind without once
moving from where He sat. On July 7, His twenty-first day at the Temple, thunder
roared and the earth trembled in the midst of an auspicious heavy rain. Amidst
all of this, He became enlightened to the ultimate dao and opened the great gate
of the spirit world. From then on, He exercised authority over the three realms
and employed at will the universe's power of creative change.

Accross from the mountain from the Great Wish Temple, is the Geum-sahn
Temple. It houses the tallest indoor Maitreya Statue in the world.
The night before Jeung-san attained enlightenment, He had said to Geum-gohk,
"Go over the mountain to Geum-sahn Temple and stay inside the Maitreya Shrine."
As the monk left Dae-wun Temple, he saw a brilliant pillar of fire descending
from the sky to the roof of the Seven Stars Shrine. While he was inside the
Maitreya Shrine, heaven and earth suddenly shook so hard that it seemed as if
the statue and shrine would collapse. Barely able to maintain consciousness and
unable to remain upright, the monk clung to a pillar inside the shrine. Despite
this, he experienced a state of rapture. At daybreak, he returned to Dae-wun
Temple and reported what had happened that night. Geum-gohk realized that, at
the moment of his rapture, Jeung-san had attained enlightenment.

The Geum-sahn Temple meaning, the Gold Mountain Temple houses saries from the
ancestor Buddha, the Shakiamuni Buddha, as well as the Statue of the Maitreya
Buddha. Saries are bones in the shapes of pearls that are formed in the bodies
of Buddhas. After long meditations, the essence gets concentrated and makes
these pearls in the body. It is known that more than one hundred of these
pearls were recovered from the cremated body of Shakiamuni Buddha. The tall
tower in the picture houses saries from the original Buddha before the
Shakiamuni Buddha. The smaller tower behind holds saries from the Shakiamni
Buddha.

The Maitreya Buddha Statue. Sangjenim said the Maitreya statue holds the
Dragon Ball in His Hand, but Sangjenim holds the Dragon Ball in His mouth.
The Maitreya Shrine in Gold Mountain Temple was built by the great monk
Jin-pyo. He received enlightenment from the Maitreya Buddha and Maitreya
promised Jin-pyo that He will be born in the land of Korea for the salvation of
humanity.
In answer to Jin-Pyo, Maitreya Buddha was born in Korean in 1871 for the
salvation of humanity. He called himself JeungSan, because He was born under
the Jeung Mountain, meaning the rice cake cooker mountain. It is a small
mountain that is in the picture. If you go there, you will see all other
mountains circles this moutain in respect and bows to this mountain. His title
is SangJeNim. In Chinese bible God is translated as SangJe. JeungSan is the
Maitreya, God the Father, who sent Jesus to earth for His work. Now God Himself
was born on earth for the complete salvation of humanity. However God is never
alone. God comes in pairs, there is God and then there is Goddess.
This is the portrait of God and Goddess. Please go to http://www.dojeon.org/english_main.aspx and read the words of
God and Goddess. Why did God come to earth? What did God do while He was on
earth? What will happen to us that now God was on earth? The answers are on
the pages of the book.
Sahng-jeh-nim said to His disciples, hose who believe in Jesus wait for the
second coming of Christ. Those who believe in Buddha wait for the coming of
Maitreya Buddha. Those who believe in Eastern Learning wait for the rebirth of
Chey Su-oon. No matter who it is, when the person comes, all will proclaim that
he is their teacher and follow him.?He also said, sent Confucius, Buddha, and
Jesus to earth for the purpose of My work.
