A ga-wi is an attack from a vengeful spirit that has certain bitterness & grief on a particular family and this vengeful spirit tries to take revenge or curse the lineage of that family. Usually, when you get a ga-wi, one feels that a certain spirit-being is holding their neck by force and they're not able to move any part of their body except shaking their head. One day, a young Bruce Lee had a nightmare that was so vivid, it almost felt real. The vivid voice in the dream was saying, "Your father will die at 64 and you won't even live half as long as him!". Little Lee felt very strange about this and he went to his father and asked what the dream was about. Father answered, "That is the voice of the child prodigy and fengshui master Sung ling-ru(¼º¸µ·ç). He had passed away at the age of 12 years old. He was a genius at finding the most harmonious and auspicious sites. Before he died he had made his final wish: "Nobody should be buried next to my grave." Lee's father told him that unfortunately Bruce's grandfather had been buried next to Sung's grave." Is this story true? At that time, Lee's father had passed away in China. Just like the warning from the nightmare said, his father was 64. Lee couldn't relax and enjoy his success as his new form of Kungfu was becoming well-known and successful in movies all over the world. In 1973, Lee was making a movie called "Enter the Dragon." In 1993, while acting in the movie "The Crow", he was mistakenly shot by a loaded weapon on set and died. This is the tragedy passed on through the 3rd generation of the Lee family.
